Ooops! My reveal from The Paper Bakery!

I just went back through my blog posts and just realized that I never showed my reveal from everything that I made with my February add on kit from The Paper Bakery!! I would say I had a blonde moment but considering I'm brunette. I guess we're all allowed to have our moments! Maybe I could blame it on getting up there in age. I am very saddened by the fact that I only have less than a year of being able to say I'm THIRTY-SOMETHING. ACK!!! Not going to think about it!!!

Ok, so on to my reveal!! That was the whole point of this blog post right?!?!? One thing that I've noticed about this kit is the different looks you can get with it! There is a mixture of papers and embellishments to give you a playful whimsical look or a classy elegant look.

My Nanny, My Angel

Play Pals

And the last thing I have to share is a card I made.

Thank you for everything!

Hope everyone is having a nice relaxing weekend doing whatever it is you enjoy whether it be scrapping or having fun with family!!

Until next time.....

Bunny Treats - Momenta

I'm so excited to share with you my first Momenta layout! I am drawn to the Kaleidoscope collection with all of the beautiful colors and patterns! I am a huge fan of bright colors mixed with black touches. Momenta also has some great matching border and swirl stickers.

Here is a picture of my baby girl with her Easter basket a couple of years ago. I thought the colors in her dress would look great with all the colors in the Kaleidoscope papers. I used the pyramid pad along with the matching borders and swirls.

I am also excited to say that I finally tried out their new Design Your Own Stickers! It was fun and easy! I used the Mercedes font and a hot pink pattern to create the "bunny" part of my title. If you've never tried this new item from Momenta, you need to!

Products I used:
Kaleidoscope Puffy Borders
Kaleidoscope Puffy Swirls

Paper Bakery Wrap It Up projects

Today I wanted to share with you some of my Paper Bakery projects that were so fun to make. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner I thought it would great to make some packaging projects. I love to give gifts and everyone I know loves to receive a present that has some unique packaging! So my first project is a kraft bag that I bought at WalMart for $1. I added some papers, my fussy cut flowers (aren’t they so pretty?!?!), and my tags and called it done!!

Isn’t that stamped ticket a great addition?!?! Love that thing!

My next project is a cupcake box that I jazzed up. I used to be a caterer a long time ago and had some of these boxes left over and thought it would look better with some scrapbooking goodies on it! And the tag that Sarah made was already gorgeous enough as is but I wanted to add a little color to so I added some little red heart stamps and the layered blue hearts.

And yes, those are real cupcakes inside the box. I needed some yummy goodies to help me stage my projects!! LOL!! Hubby didn’t think so but he didn’t mind doing a little taste testing.

And my last gift wrapping project is a cute little treat bag filled with ……..yep, some more goodies! LOVE this holiday!! I thought this would be fun to make to give to the kids in Gracie’s preschool class.

So that’s it for me for now. I’ll be back next week to share some more fabulous Paper Bakery goodness with you!! But I did want to leave you with some pics of the February Project kit and the Add-on kit that will be available to buy soon!!

SP and Co. stamp project

I just wanted to share a quick little project that took me all of 1 hour to make this morning. Gotta love those quicky projects! I saw that Scrapmaster's Paradise is having a blog hop today (which I've already done and saw some gorgeous cards!!) and they are also having a bright red challenge! So I figured I had a few hours to play so why not!!

Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner I wanted to create something for one of my sweet loved ones! Not sure who's gonna get it. They may have to fight over it!! LOL!! Maybe I'll turn this into a "who can clean up the most gets it" kind of game!!

I used Bold Sentiments I Stamp Set (which is sold out).

So hear are the deets if your interested in playing!!

Create a bright red project and add your direct link below! Got SP Stamps? Great, use them! If not, now's a wonderful time to buy some, but still play along with our challenge even if you can't use SP Stamps this time. Entries are due by Saturday, February 18th at 11:59PM EST. One winner will be chosen at random to win a $10 gift certificate to the SP and Company Store!

Even if you don't want to play, you need to check out Sami's stamps!! They are so cute and the quality is great!! I have a couple of sets and have loved using them!!

Until next time........

Color Challenge at Burlap & Buttercups

Hi!! It was my turn to give a challenge on the B&B blog this past Friday and I wanted to give a color challenge of using blue and orange. Not sure why but the first thing that really jumped out at me from the January kit are the 2 sheets of Basic Grey Picadilly, the really pretty and vibrant flowery orange piece and the soft frilly blue one. I finally realized that these two are complimentary color so I guess that’s why I was so drawn to them. So that’s my challenge to you! Create a layout, card, or anything that suits your fancy using those 2 yummy colors.

For my first sample, I wanted to make to sure to use one of those sweet and adorable coat hangers!! So I found a dress template online, cut it out, and attached my coat hanger to make this card.

For this layout, I chose blue and orange pattern papers to be the main colors. I also added some details by using a bunch of banners made from all of the fabulous pattern papers from the January kit (which is sold out).

This is the first challenge of the month but there will be more challenges given each Friday so if you like to be challenged swing by and see what tickles your fancy. There is also a sweet prize to be won.........a $15 gift certificate to the B&B store!!

Can't wait to see what's created!

The Paper Bakery.....I'm this month's guest designer!! :)

What a crazy life I've been leading the past 2 months!! I've been rejected from DT calls which made me sad but I had a sweet person get in touch with me and ask me to guest design for her. I can't say enough about her and how she picked me up and put a smile on my face! Who is this person?!?!? It's Sarah from The Paper Bakery!! So for the past week I've busy creating with her beautiful February add-on kit which is a combination of October Afternoon's Farmhouse and Sidewalk. And Sarah really has an eye for those vintagy elements that she adds to the kits. I have a couple of layouts done so I want to share a couple of little sneak peaks of what can be done with this kit!!

Don't you just love love love those wood doilies from Maya Road?!?! They are so much fun to work with! Ok, that's it from me for now. If you like what you see, then go check The Paper Bakery out!! You have to see Sarah's new website design!! It such eye candy!! And if I saw a store like that on the streets, I would be in the front door in a heart beat! And the great thing about the goodies in this store.......they're all fat free and zero calories! ;)

Sneak peaks of the February B&B kit.....you're gonna love it!!

From Rachel:

You've all been waiting so patiently for the sneaks of our February kit and add-on ... and I have good news.  Your wait it finally over!  I do have to issue one disclaimer, though: I feel these sneak peeks are somewhat incomplete given that I'm still waiting on one box of goodies, many of which make up the lovely splashes of rose and pink that are part of this month's kit.  This kit is going be perfect for everyday shots, but it's also going to work great for those of you inclined to create a card for your sweetie or a Valentine layout about someone you love.  Once that last box arrives in the next few days, I'll give you a few more glimpses.  ;)

Meanwhile, feast your eyes on these!

And today she was able to show more sneak peaks!

One more thing before I go, Rachel is having a contest over on the Burlap and Buttercups blog and guess what the fabulous prize is?!?!?
