Autumn Splendor layout and cards

This month's kit from Color Me Daisy is called "Autumn Splendor" and it truly is a kit filled with a lot of splendor-ific supplies!! It is a beautiful mix of Dream Street's Sam and MLYB's Autumn Bliss. Also thrown in the mix is some Maya Road velvet flowers, fabric tags, rub-ons, chipboard houses, and the gorgeous Maya Road kraft envelopes. Michelle still has a few kits left if anyone is interested!!

This layout is for our monthly sketch challenge by Julie Bonner. Always fun to use one of her sketches! Here is my oldest son standing outside by the house where I was trying to catch some of the color of fall. Now a days, I'm so grateful just to get a good picture of him let alone any picture of him. He's growing up and has a mind of his own!!

Halloween Night

I swear, kids are like a fine wine. They just keep getting better with time until they hit the teenage years. But that's a whole other post!! Halloween keeps getting better and better with Josh and Gracie! As you can see in the pic, Josh was a dragon and Gracie was a princess mermaid. How cute are they?!?!?!

We had a very interesting night! It rained on us!!! We did manage to get 75% of our trick-or-treat route completed. Luckily we were on our way home when it really started to pour. We only let it add to the fun. The kids were laughing while trying to run in their costumes. The main thing was not to let it rain on the candy!! Mission accomplished and it was a Halloween to remember!
