Another Momenta and 4th of July layout

Happy Saturday! Is everyone surviving this heat?!?! Holy Moly this is some crazy crazy heat! I am a cold natured person but even this is too much for me.

Today I want to share another 4th of July layout. I really love making layouts with red, white, and blue! I brought out my Momenta papers and was determined to create a 4th of July with what I had and the Vacation Pyramid papers did the trick. I had to use the backs of most them but I love how it turned out! 

And how about those fabulous red crimped metal alphas? Aren't they great?!?! I love how they shimmer in the light.

July 4th is right around the corner and I am looking forward to it!! Got the kid's outfits and the fireworks bought so we are ready to celebrate our nation's special day! Can't wait!!

Lake Adventure -- Momenta

Happy Monday! How was everyone's weekend? I want to say ours was busy but it was more like rushing to get bathing suits on, sunscreen on, pack a cooler, and all that good stuff to get out on the lake to relax and play. I seriously have no clue how our summers would be without our boat!! Don't care to think about it so we'll move on....... :)

Today I've got a layout to share that I made with my Momenta papers along with some other little treasures in my scrapbook stash. I really love the One Fine Day collection and all of it's great summery designs. For this layout I really wanted to focus on the pictures but wanted to highlight the colors from the papers for the simple reason that they bring out the colors from my pictures.

I love the look of layering my title over some homemade tags!

Some Summer Fresh layouts

I can't tell you how excited I was to get my hands on the new Summer Fresh line from Simple Stories!! From the first second I laid my eyes on it the creative side of my brain went crazy thinking of layouts and all the pictures I have of my sweet babies that would go perfect with it.

I recently bought some Elle's Studio tags that I thought went perfect with these papers. I love how they blended in with the color scheme and the sewn look of the Summer Fresh papers.

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far and getting those great summer pics to scrap! This weekend we are headed off to enjoy a day on the lake with lots of family. It's been quite a few years since one side of my family have all been together. So my uncle who lives on the lake has decided to get us all together for food, family, and fun! Can't wait!!

SRM - July 4th

Summertime.....awwww. Love it! The kids are finally all out of school now and we are in the full swing of summer. And one of our favorite summer holidays is right around the corner.....July 4th! 

I love to buy the kids shirts that display our love for our country. This layout is Gray in her sweet little outfit from last year. Today this layout is being featured on the SRM blog. They have the perfect set of July 4th stickers called Express Yourself 4th of July.

 

 

In addition to the Express Yourself 4th of July stickers I also used the Months of The Year - July.

Happy Tuesday! Just wanted to stop by and share a few cards I've made lately.

Sunday I picked up the new MME Indie Chic papers and was ready to dig into them immediately! The colors and designs are to die for! So together with my SRM stickers I created this little beauty.

And these which I made for Josh's teachers. They are made from some older Cosmo papers and chipboard stickers that have been laying around in my stash.
