Now I want to share a layout that I recently made with some Momenta Let's Party papers and stickers. Last year my middle baby celebrated his 10th birthday. And his choice of restaurant.....Chuck E Cheese. Of course!! Lol!!
I love this page and wanted to emphasize the predesigned lines. I used some Lemondrop and Carribean Twinery twine to glue down on top of the lines.
Even though I love how it turned out, you will have to forgive me for the messy glue look. Apparently I am using the wrong glue for this technique. If you have any suggestions, I would LOVE to hear what type of glue you have used!
I just love the colors and patterns in this collection. Perfect for all of the bright wonderful colors in those Chuck E. Cheese pics! I had to use this Make A Wish title sticker. I love how the orange outlining makes it look 3 dimensional!
Thanks for letting me share!
i know whay you mean-- i am so going to miss B&B!! My local scrapbook store is also closing its doors- we found out 2 weekes ago- this is a place where i found scrapbooking 12 years ago and have visited and worked for all those years. i feel like i have lost 2 best friends. it is terrible. Now the nearest store to me is over an hour away. such a bummer!
ReplyDeletegreat layout!! sooo cute!
B&B is definitely the hardest DT I have had to let go... Still very sad about it closing too... Your page on the contrary is very happy! :D I LOVE what you did with the twine!!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the closing. Love your layout--the twine treatment is awesome :)
ReplyDeletelove this layout and the twine! Awesome! So sorry to hear about B & B. Have you tried Ranger Glossy Accents?
ReplyDeleteLove the use of the twine. Haven't been as brave as you with it. What about Quick-dry.
ReplyDeletegreat job with the Momenta birthday page.. looks fun and bright with cool accents
ReplyDeleteThis is such an awesome lo! I love the way you used the twine, it totally pops on the page!! I have done something similar a couple times now on lo's and used a Zig glue pen. So far the twine has not popped off and you can't see the glue because it's thin, plus it's supposed to dry clear.
ReplyDeleteI totally thought that title was 3D, that rocks!
This is so incredibly adorable!! I just LOVE how you used the twine!! TFS!! Take Care!!
