Imaginisce Good Dog

All this week Imaginisce is showing off some fabulous DT projects using their new collection "Good Dog". This is such a great collection for all of those dog lovers out there!! The patterns are so colorful and trendy and can be used for pages beyond showing off your dog! Also, be sure to leave comments all this week on the Imaginisce blog for your chance to win your own "Good Dog" collection!!

Today my projects are up on the blog and first up is a layout I've been wanting to make but have been waiting for the right papers! Our little Scootie LOVES his treats and will do anything to get some! The pictures in my layout display one way he tries which is the begging, pleading, and looking ever so pitiful! Sad to say all he got was a bunch of laughing at him for carrying around this bag of treats. He did end up getting quite a few treats for being so adorable! He is such a sweet dog!

Feed Me! Please?

And check out a couple of the pieces that are in the die cut package! Aren't these paw prints too stinkin cute?!?! I did a little hand sewing to make the hearts stand out.

And my second project is this matching Birthday card and gift bag set. I was looking through some dog Silhouette shapes and found this adorable little pooch and knew he would be perfect for this project!

I added a birthday hat to him and added some frilly trim which is a piece of the washi tape from the Love You More collection. I took a piece about 4", folded it in half (sticky side to sticky side) and cut slits in the bottom of it. Then I scrunched it up and sewed it down.

All of the banner pieces are a bunch of circles that I punched out of the pattern paper and cut the tops off. Then glued them down and added a piece of twine to create the banner! So easy and it is such a fun look to any birthday project!

Alrighty....that's it for me today! Hope you enjoyed my projects made with "Good Dog" and are inspired to create some layouts, cards or what have you centered around a cute little pooch! Thanks for visiting!!

SRM - new glassine bag ideas Plus some exciting news!

Happy Wednesday?!?! Yes....it is Wednesday. I am so off this week. The kids were out of school Monday and yesterday so it feels like Monday to me. So happy it's not!!

Today I'm up on the SRM blog with this sweet little mini that I made for my sweet baby girl who just turned 6. OMGosh.....I can't believe it's already been 6 years! But it's been the best 6 years watching her grow! She has brought so much joy and laughs to this family! She really is a princess to me and my husband! Even her brothers adore her. So to document her birthday I made this little mini. The inside pages are the new and  oh so FABULOUS glassine bags from SRM! I took 6 of the medium sized (6 1/4" x 3 3/4") glassine bags and used my Bind-It-All to create the whole album. I used a border punch on every other bag and I was greatly surprised to find that the SRM bags punch nicely....no making the punch stick like other bags I've used! And all papers are from the gorgeous Simple Stories Fabulous collection! YUMMY!

It's your Special Day Princess mini

And here is another idea of what you can make with those oh so FABULOUS glassine bags from SRM!! I dressed up the bag using some SRM Valentine stickers and one of the Christmas label stickers and made adorable little matching cards. Sweet treats any kid would love to get! Now to make 17 more of these! Lol!!

And here is my exciting news!! I have been chosen for a guest design spot at Pretty Little Studio!! They have the sweetest and cutest papers, journal spots, tags, and stickers!! I am thrilled and can't wait!! You can see the announcement here!

Childhood Memories - It's the special little moments and Hello!

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a fantabulous weekend like I did! Can't say what we did because I really don't want to jinx it! But there may be some big changes to come in mine and my family's life....big changes that will be welcomed with arms wide open!! (Promise I won't bust out in song!! Lol!) As soon as we get confirmation I will pass along our good news!

So back to why I'm here today....this week Imaginisce is having a release party for Childhood Memories! And WOW....what a collection this is! I think this has to be one of my all time favs from Imaginisce!! It's so fun and playful with all of the great colors and patterns! The first thing I noticed about it were the adorable hopscotch boards on the papers and stickers. I immediately thought about the day when the kids and I spent hours playing outside in the drive way riding our bikes and playing hopscotch. I fussy cut the bicycle and some Polaroid pics because they are just so darn cute and I knew they would look good!

It's the special little moments like these

And another fussy cut bicycle for this card! Love those sweet little bicycles!! I layered the cloud border stickers which I love how it turned out! And the hello sentiment was made with my Silhouette.

Alrighty....that's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Imaginisce blog to see the gorgeous Childhood Memories creations the other DT girlies have been making!!

Busy working and not much to show but this....

A happy hello this Saturday!! I've been feeling like I needed to get over here and get something posted but I don't have much. I have been busy working on some layouts, cards, and some other fun projects but sadly I can't reveal them just yet! So sorry my friends...you'll have to wait! But I do have a fun Christmas layout that was my first layout created with my new and FABULOUS Silhouette! Man how I LOVE that machine!! So now is when I quit talking and get to showing! LOL!!

Santa Treats

And here are some close up detail shots so you can see the fabulous SRM Stickers that I used on my layout!! I have always loved the polka dotted border on most of the round stickers but for this layout I decided to try something different! I used the dots as my guide to poke holes and then add a solid stitch for the border. I love how it turned out!

And here is another close up detail shot of how perfectly and seamlessly these stickers look on any project!! If you don't know SRM Stickers....it's the "tis the season to be jolly"! How beautiful does that look? If you've never used SRM Stickers you NEED to! They are so much fun for all your projects!! Be sure to check out the blog for more fabulous ways to use them!!

Alrighty, that's it for me for now! It won't be much longer before I'll be back with some new stuff! Can't wait to show what I've been working on!!

What a great way to start the new year!

Hi guys!! Just wanted to stop by real quick like before I head off to school to read to my little ones. Every other Wednesday is my day to read to Gracie's Kindergarten class. I adore each and every one of them....they are so sweet at that age!

Today is the day I am introduced to the 2013 Imaginisce design team! I still can't believe I am able to say that! It is a dream come true for me! I have been a fan of Imaginisce products for quite a few years now!

And here are most of the projects I submitted in my application. My card is going to have to be a secret for a while. I submitted it to Northridge Publishing so you won't be able to see it until the June 2013 Cricut Magazine comes out!! Yay!!
