Hi guys!! I'm so excited to say that I am the Guest Designer for Pretty Little Studio this week!! I can't wait to show you what I've been working on! (Warning: this is a very long post but be sure you make it to the end because there will be some GREAT GIVEAWAY info you won't want to miss!!) I was sent the Birthday Cake collection...
How cute is that?!?! I LOVE everything about all of the papers, journal tags, die cuts, banners, and all of those adorable boys and girls!! Perfect patterns and colors for all those birthday layouts and cards! And who did I chose to scrap? Of course, my sweet baby girl!! I often feel so guilty because she gets scrapped the most but she's so much sweeter and cuter than the boys (don't tell them I said that!!).
And here she is celebrating her 5th birthday. She asked for an Ariel birthday cake and I have to say that was probably one of the funnest birthday cakes I've made to date!
Here are some close up shots of my layout which I also enjoyed making!
Ok, now on to some more fun stuff! I was asked to share pics about where I scrap. So here is a little bit about it!!
About my space….
I am lucky enough to have a whole room to call my scrapbook room! Well, I say a “whole” room. I do share it with my kiddos who love to play on the computer. I LOVE that it’s a room where we all hang out in together! BTW, you’ll have to excuse my room! Normally I have window treatments up but we are in the process of selling our house and I wanted to make sure my pretty curtain rods go with me!! ;)
This is my side of the room where I do all my scrapping. I have the Ikea bookshelf with the attached desk. I love having all the little cubbies that house all of those goodies that I use often. Nice having them all within arm’s length.
On the other side of the room is where I keep all of the fun stuff!! I have stacked 14 stackables to create these towers of yumminess! Mostly these drawers are dedicated to goodies I’ve acquired from different manufactures, all of the rest hold my Thickers, layouts I've made, scraps of cardstock, card making supplies, embellishments, and then I have a drawer for each holiday/season.
And lastly is my closet. On the outside I have a shoe organizer where I keep all of my punches and die cuts. The inside is just a mixture of different crafty items.
Alrighty....WHOOOOOO!!! That was a lot to get through! So now we get on to the really really good stuff!! Melissa (being the sweetheart she is) is letting me do a giveaway here on my blog AND she has one on the Pretty Little Studio blog!! She asked me to pick out my top 5 favorite PLS products to giveaway to one lucky winner! And here is what I chose and I hope you like them!!!
You will have until May 10th to get your comment posted here and on the PLS blog.
Be sure to join me again tomorrow! Keri Babbitt has a brand new sketch challenge and I have a layout to share that is based on that sketch!
