Father's Day card and treat jar

Hi guys! How was everyone's weekend? Hopefully it was a good one spent outdoors enjoying all of this beautiful spring weather! I am loving this weather we've been having here in the great state of North Carolina! The kids and I have been spending a lot of time outside doing all of those fun summer things that you're suppose to be doing. But it makes it hard thinking about 1 more week of school! Yes, we still have 1 more week to go! I'm so ready for summer break as are the kids!

And speaking of summer things.....I have a Father's Day project to share with you today! My hubby loves to get homemade gifts from me and the kids. He's so awesome because he truly cherishes everything we make for him! So for part of his Father's Day gift, I made this adorable shirt card and a matching candy jar that is filled with his favorite candies! I figured he can sit this on his desk at work and have some sweets at his fingertips.

The card was so easy to make and I love how it turned out with all of the fabulous new Imaginisce papers! I used the bi-fold shirt card cut from Silhouette and it took me all of 2 minutes to put it together.

For the candy jar, I just added some of the strips from the new Outdoor Adventure collection along with a piece of May Arts ribbon, added a tag made from the banner stamp and some twine, then filled it up! So simple and easy and I know he's gonna love it!

Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a good one!!
