My August TSS Reveal - part 1

Due to enjoying a relaxing week at the beach, I only have 1/2 of my projects done with my The Scrapping Spot August kit. Which is absolutely fabulous BTW!!! The papers are Basic Grey Oxford and the embellies are a mix of BG Oxford, Tim Holtz, GCD, Kaisercraft, Bazzill, Jenni Bowlin, & Petaloo. This has to be one of my favorite kits ever!! It is so much fun to work with!

So here are my layouts that I have completed so far. The whole idea of this kit was to stay away from school but I couldn't help myself when I remembered I had these pics of my sweet little girl who is soooooo ready to go to school but can't start until the next school year(not this coming one).

She's so ready 4 school

This one is about Josh who ended up having to get glasses. He just seems too young to me to have to get glasses but thanks to some genes that his daddy passed on to him we're in them now. LOL!! (I'm always giving my sweet DH a hard time!! Even on my blog!!)

Love the new specs

Not sure what I'm going to do with this bookmark.....I'll have to give it away to someone who does read. I have read a few books in my life time but now that I have scrapbooking to fill my time that's where all of my time and energy goes.

Time to read bookmark

OK, that's it from me for now. I'm working hard on getting part 2 ready and will post it here when it's ready!! If you're liking this kit, then go check out the shop at The Scrapping Spot. I'm sure it is going to sell like hotcakes!!!

  2. What a cool kit! I love all the projects, but the Specs layout just pops with all the dark matting. Sounds like you all had a fun week at the beach--sounds wonderful!

  3. Beautiful LO's! I feel your daughters pain. My son was soooo ready too but missed the cutoff by 18 days and had to wait until he was almost 6 to start school. Can't wait to see the rest of your creations!!
