THE TWINERY & IMAGINISCE BLOG HOP!!

TGIF!! And welcome to the last day of our blog hop! I don't know about you all but I am so inspired by all of the fabulous projects I've seen this week! Fabulous products = Fabulous projects!!

I created this layout using the Endless Summer collection. I love the rays of sun pattern paper and I thought some long pieces of twine would compliment them perfectly. Another addition that compliments this layout are pics of my sweet summer girl who is a bigger water dog than I am! She is already asking to go to the pool or out in the boat. Me too! We're ready for summer!

Imaginisce Products: Endless Summer (pattern papers, Sticker Stackers, Die Cuts), I-Top Maker & brad, I-Rock tool and Hot Rocks
Other Products: The Twinery Marigold, Maraschino, Mandarin, & Ocean twine

I wanted to show different ways to use twine on a layout and I ended up with 3! In the picture below I used Maraschino to outline the word sun. I also used alternating pieces of Marigold (formerly known as Lemondrop) and Mandarin in between the rays of sun.

And in the picture below you can see the 3rd way I used the twine. I love to sew on my pages and although the twine is a little thicker it still works and looks great! I used an Imaginisce brad but before I put it together I sewed a little heart with Ocean into the punched paper piece.

That's it for me....be sure to continue to hop for more ideas and more chances to win!

Inspired By Color at Imaginisce

All this week on the Imaginisce blog, the DT girls have been displaying beautiful works of art using these colors and butterlies. Go check them out!

I absolutely adore the colors for the inspiration challenge! And that butterfly…WOW!!  So I decided to go with a couple of cards that focused solely on the colors and the butterfly. The cool thing about Imaginisce papers is they have great patterns and solid colors for the B sides. I wanted my cards to have a trendy look to them so I used the chevron patterned papers as the center of my butterflies and added the completed butterfly to a frame. I added a couple of banners at the bottom of the frames and stamped a chevron pattern and my sentiment. These cards came together easily once I had all of my B sided papers in front of me.

Imaginisce Supplies Used: Good Dog (pattern papers), Endless Summer (patterned papers)
Other supplies: Kraft Cardstock, Bazzill Cardstock, October Afternoon buttons, Silhouette Cameo, Teresa Collins stamps, Studio G stamps, Stampablilites Ink Pad

Imaginisce and the I-Bond

With Spring having a hard time making it’s way to us I wanted to create a piece of home décor to brighten my home and make it feel like Spring on the inside. I found this wooden bird house at Michaels and thought how cute would it be to add the sweet little bird from the Childhood Memories collection. So I pulled out some of my favorite papers along with some other embellishments. I covered my bird house with the papers and then got my I-Bond tool plugged up and ready to glue on some embellishments.

While the I-Bond was heating up, I got my ribbon/trim and other embellishments ready to go including my sweet little Roly Rosie. It only took a few quick moments to glue all of the items onto my bird house. One thing I LOVE about the I-Bond is that it doesn't drip so I didn't have to worry about it getting all over my project or my work space! Here is a look at it after everything was glued on.

Imaginisce Supplies Used: Good Dog (patterned paper), Makin’ Waves (patterned paper), Childhood Memories (patterned paper, cardstock stickers), I-Bond tool, Clear Mini Glue Sticks, Roly Rosies
Other supplies: Offray ribbon, Folkart Acrylic paint, EK Success Leaf Punch, wooden bird house - Michaels

Thanks for stopping by today! Hoping that I've brought a little Spring to you with my project!   :)

Spring Break and some HB cards

Happy Friday! I'm not really all that excited that this week is over because I've had my babies home with me this week for Spring Break and we have had so much fun! We've been bowling, eating lunch at Panda Express, ice cream from Cherry Berry, and we checked out a new bakery. Well, it's not new just new to us and OMGosh....they have the absolute PERFECT  piece of chocolate cake!!! Will power is going to have to be my best friend from now on because I just know I am going to find myself driving there every week to get my fix!! OK, need to get to thinking about something else!! So yeah...we've had a fun week and I am not looking forward to having to send my babies back to school next week! :(

So I'm here today to show off some cards that I've made. My birthday card stack is almost non-existent so I felt the need to make some to restock!

Oh happy happy day!
